Medical History

A lump appeared on the outside of the dog’s right thigh on Oct 4. The owner treated it with medicine at home. When the fur was shaved at the clinic on Oct 12, a big ulcer under the skin was found with infection.

Treatment Protocol

Tumor risk excluded. A 5cm×5cm chronic wound regimen was applied, with daily laser therapy and topical wound cream.

Result

After 6 days of treatment, the broken wound has mostly recovered.

Laser treatment accelerated healing of this complex wound by improving regional blood flow and tissue regeneration.
